Search Term Relevance
Products that closely match the search query or category are given priority to ensure customers find what they are looking for quickly and easily.
Distance from Buyer
Indiabuyon takes into account the proximity of sellers to customers to prioritize faster delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
Order of Sorting Parameters
The weightage given to the distance between the seller and the buyer varies depending on the product categories:

For categories other than F&B, search term relevance is given priority over distance.

For F&B category, distance from buyer is given priority over search relevance.

Other Parameters that Affect Visibility of Seller Products
Catalog Minimum Standards
Indiabuyon rejects products that do not meet the Indiabuyon protocol specification. Products must meet the following criteria:

The product must have all required fields as defined in the current Indiabuyon protocol specification.

The product must have valid level 1 and level 2 categories as per the Indiabuyon protocol taxonomy.

The product must have one or more images that describe the product. Images should have a minimum resolution of 300px x 300px and should not be placeholder images or seller logos.

The product must have one of the two statutory groups, each with mandatory fields to comply with legal metrology and other laws:
Timely Delivery
Seller performance, including factors like order fulfillment and shipping speed, is considered. Sellers with an SLA violation rate exceeding 10% of orders may be unpublished.
Customer Grievances
Sellers with customer complaint rates exceeding 10% of total orders may be unpublished.
Sponsored Results
Indiabuyon may display sponsored products or sellers alongside search results. Sponsored products will be clearly differentiated from organic results.
If you believe your brand meets all criteria but is not displayed as expected, please contact us at reachus@indiabuyon.in with details about your brand and the issue. We will review your case and address any concerns to ensure a fair and optimal experience on Indiabuyon. Note that when a brand or seller is onboarded on both Indiabuyon and another Seller Network Partner, Indiabuyon may prioritize its own seller's catalog.
Settlement to Seller Platforms
Money will be settled to Seller Network Participants net of the following:

Buyer Finder Fees

Applicable taxes

Promotions, if any

Returns
The settlement will be on a T+7 basis, where T is the date of Order Return Expiry. Settlement Window shall be 7 days (every Friday). To clarify, the settlement day shall be T + 7. Payments shall be settled weekly as follows:

For orders where T is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, the settlement day shall be the following Friday.
Seller Network Participants are responsible for validating the recon file. Any issues or queries on settlements must be raised within 7 days of receiving the recon file with updated payment details.
